Job Summary:

The Manager of Industrial Engineering will lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality within the organization. This role involves analyzing workflows, implementing process improvements, and utilizing engineering principles to enhance performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance operational performance.

Project Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of engineering projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management.

Data Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and process improvements.
  • Utilize statistical tools and software to track performance metrics.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and develop industrial engineering staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration between engineering, production, and other departments.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate employees on best practices and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, Lean methodologies, and process improvement techniques.
  • Proficient in data analysis software and tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
